User's Guide - Death
There are no taxes in Arcanity, so you can avoid them for now. Death, however, is inevitable.
Dying isn't quite as bad as in real life, but it's certainly no walk in the park. When you die, you will drop some of your money, you will drop some of your items, and some of your items will be destroyed.
On the plus side, forces beyond your understanding will resurrect you and bring you back to life. Also, most of your belongings will be brought along with you in the process.
Don't worry too much about dying. Just learn from the experience, replace your lost gear, and head back out on another adventure. Unlike real life, you rise again to fight another day and take revenge on those that killed you, if you so desire. If you hurry, you might even be able to get most of your lost items back.
