When my character does something that gains him experience how does he gain levels? Is it something that just happens or do we have to find someone of a higher level to train us? If everyone is the same level at the start of game who will train us? On the other hand the costs of training could be an economical boon for the guilds to cover costs of running. The advantage of this is the money sink to get rid of excess funds.

You might want to read some of the old messages to get a feel for the system.

Arcanity does not have levels. It's a skill-based system - you gain the ability to increase your skills. That's it. No levels to worry about.

As to how one improves skills, the devs haven't released any mechanics details yet.

Sorry I didn't clarify myself. I know there are not any 'levels'. I was referring to skill levels. How much higher in skill levels would it take to instruct someone lower or would advancement occur automaticly. Personally I am in favor of the training because it could cause higher player interaction as everyone is seeking a master to train them.

Most of the training, as stated, will be from NPC's... And it's somewhat hinted that PC's will be able to train other PC's... I suggest again that you read the Game section, and find as many interviews as you can by scrolling down in the Home section. I would suggest you read every message in the boards too, but that's a lot of time consumed, there is a lot of material here...

Sorry if I'm being redundant.
