RESOLVED: Server not timing out disconnected players

the old "don't let Xylenix in the game" bug is back. Server said she was in game, but she wasn't. It didn't time her out after several hours.

now we play the waiting game and hopefully it'll be msew to the rescue soon.

How long did the person wait before trying to get back into the game?

the loginserver was not being told about the lost connection.


currently. you have to wait 25 seconds before logging back in.

so: if your connection dies or what not, then our servers will see that the connection has died. And 25 seconds after that they will persist your character and then allow you back into the game.
