So, I see that everyone is trying to get all the power, or control the ones with it. May be I sit back for awhile and see who comes out of the mist.

The most powerful people in history were the ones behind the throne. If you act in haste you will make mistakes, and if you are lucky enough, you will live through them and learn. If you watch others you can learn from them without suffering from the mistake like they did.

It's good to look both before and where you're leaping to.

I agree...I had a great character in a Larp who gained all his power and manipulated events in two cities while everyone thought he was just a bodyguard.......

Aye, I have learned much over the years from watching others seeking power. I really enjoy being the one that they come to for advice and support, its rewarding in its own way. That is one of the reasons I will problily stay neutral and out of any guilds for a while. Its nice to have a player in game that everyone knows they can trust and not favor another person or group.
