View Full Version : A call to arms!
Crestfallen
11-22-2000, 11:21 PM
From across the frozen wastes I have seen their approach. Across the sun scorched sands their mindless minions clamber from long still tombs. Trudging through dank swamps, and marching out of ancient ruins. I have seen them cross over mountain and under sea, the black energy that animates them shining as dark as the great orb that lights our days is bright. They are coming for us, bringing with them pestilence, famine, and war. The time has come for us to stand together as one, and with steel singing in hand or spell singing in the soul fight, not for power nor land, not for gold, no, not even for freedom. Now is the time we must fight for our very lives. The Tribunal welcomes you into her ranks, but you must be prepared. The Undead Lords are coming, and if we should fail there will be no rest for our souls.

It appears that you have most of the boards on your side. A common cause might be the binding glue that holds us together instead of going at each others throats like I've read here about the other games.

Personally, my character will be trying to mediate peace between the Undead and the Living... probably a futile battle, but it should lead to some fun negotiations. I suspect I'll die a lot, as well. :)

Unfortunately whenever you die you will become shock troops for them to throw at us.

True. Just more roleplaying opportunity.
"No, that wasn't me trying to drain your soul- that was my animated corpse. Let me explain..."

I think we should create a Soul Bound magic ittem that disintegrates his body when he dies. A magical "Dead Man's Switch".
why would you need that, for when im done, there will just be little peices left :)

Kymeri looks down on her Archbisop and smiles at his zeal for the upcoming battle.

I share my sisters joy at UBIK's zeal. We should all be joyous for the opprotunity to smite our enemies.

This is why one should always have someone on your side who studies the way of your foe and understands them. I intend to make my specialization in the Dark Arts, a thin line to walk... but that is the price of such things.

It is like a fire dance, practice it long enough and you will burn. So goes life... live by the sword, die by the sword... but not too soon, hmmm?
actually life is
live by the sword, die by Ubik.... heh heh heh
(and no that doesnt mean if you have a sword i'll kill you)

Thats good UBIK, you just might make the Warrior Goddess half that your serving a little upset if you go around killing her warriors with swords.

I wouldn't be too scronful there Slitherrr for although you choose the monks path you are still a warrior and Wrentia is the Warrior Goddess therefore you are hers as well as those who choose weapons.
