Everquest Replacement!

Hello There,

I just visited this site today for the first time. Good design by the way! Anyhow, I am a regular on the scenes of Everquest, tonight after getting rather disgruntled about not being able to conform into a single class. I realized I don't fit in any after getting to lvl 51, playing friends chars, and realizing, it wasn't the game for me. This game looks like a great thing to occupy my time. Especially between the gap between the release of this and Halo. Even though chances are I will play both religiously. Anyways, I'm ranting like some sort of idiot to people I don't know.

I would just like to commend you on your work, and urge you to please put this onto a Mac Platform too, I am personally PC. But my Myth order has many Mac's in it. I would enjoy getting to play an MMORPG with them!

Hahahhaahh didn't you hate that part of EverQuest? The way that it seems you can NEVER make up your mind on what character you want to be. I would get sick of playing my warrior, or ranger, or druid, etc. I made/tried every possible race/class combo only to find I was never satified.

Cept for my Cleric of course ;)

What I look forward to about Arcanity is that you don;t have to lead the same life forever. I can pull stats pts from one skill/spell and apply it to another. This way I can retain my power, and status, and name without having to remake my character and starting from scratch.

PC, specifically the Windows/Intel setup, gets priority because most gamers use that setup including all of the designers except for Lamont. But we've talked about porting to other platforms and it will certainly be something we'll look into after release depending on customer demand.
