I am not a Crook, We are citzens of the Outside. We have rejected the simplistic, boring, regimented, bureaucratic, moral, and ethical scriptures by which society live's. In their place we have substituted our own far more superior ones.

We may physically move among them but we are not of them. Where they are lazy, we are industrious. where they are immoral, we are moral. Where they are liars, we are the Truth. We are probably the greatest power for good to the society that we have discarded.

Why is this so you may ask? It is so because we give the police something to do, someone to chase, some reason for their rushing about in expensive uniforms. And the public... Oh how they listen for the lateset reports on our exploits, How they talk to each other about it and relish every detail !!

And what is the cost of this entertainment and social good ?
Nothing.
The service is free, even though we risk life, limb, and liberty to provide it.
What do we take from them ? Nothing.
Just money, paper, and metal symbols. All of it insured. If we clean out a bank, the money's returned by the crown.

No sacrifice, No sacrifice at all, we are benefactors. But in order for us to accomplish All this good for Them we must operate outside their barriers and well outside of their rules. We must be stealthy as rats in the wainscoting of their society.

If this has in anyway motivated you to seek a alternate lifestyle outside the Norm then lets get organized and get a nice Honest Thieves Guild started.

After all can't have the wizards hoarding all the gems guilt free now can we.

...And fried from the inside-out. If there is anything left we will let Wrentia impale you on a stick, that is if she doesn't get you first.

Monks hold small value in material possesion, however I personally like Wrentia so I may just have to bring you to her if you should "borrow" anything from her. She's a pretty good cook and I'm sure she could make you taste almost as good as a mage.

I am interested in accepting your offer of an alternative to the norm... a life outside of the black lines which we color between. I however, do not plan on making myself exclusive to your guild if I join, however, I will be loyal to both guilds... no information either way which may help to defuge it.. and I will not borrow from the other guild... however...I am stealthy as the praying tiger.

I hope that our paths cross again very soon....
PS, see the mage guilds leader.. he is also a stealthen by trade..

Guild is a loose term to use with this kind of lifestyle. I think that if areas are claimed by a number of people who seek the glory of this type of life, that it would be open to others who may travel through that area, and knowledge would be shared, wine would be drunk, and discussion's of when is the best time to explore a Wizard's stronghold and also when to let all the beans out of the monk's punching bag etc.
