I've noticed that this section of the board has kinda died over the last while, so let's get it going again.
Tell me why.
I'm not going to tell you why what, just tell me why. anything you can think of.
Here's a cheesy one to get us all started.
Why do they call it a driveway when we park on it and a parkway when we drive on it?
well to answer the question "Why?" its "because" and dont say it isnt because colleges ask that question on finals

I once encountered someone who wrote as an answer, for a short-essay question on Hamlet, "why not". The question involved debating that if Hamlet's actions were those of a madman, why did he do them?
Either way, he scored an 80-something%, after a little questioning afterwards...
Never underestimate the answering of a stupid question with a stupid answer...
This was for a English 100, exam, if I recall correctly.

Ah, how about this one. Why is the word monosyllabic so long? Or, why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?
Su'ulMorda

Because that would be too easy and, "Nothing is Ever Easy", it's a law, don't ye know...
