Nihon-go = Japanese Language
Nihon-jin = Japanese Ethnicity

It's going to be hard to do any good role-playing if you are speaking Japanese unless you are playing a Foreign Diplomat or something like that.

UBIK

bel, are you missing the point? This hole thread was only meant for Useless. Kintoun was just curious on how much Useless knew. I doubt we are going to go around and speak japanesse when we are trying to talk to someone(unless they were japanesse), and what would the point of saying "do you have any good items for sell?" in japanesse if the other guy didnt know what the hell you were speaking?!?!

ok im done....

Do you actualy know Latin or did you just post a quote you had on hand?

I had Latin lessons at school a few years back, so I know a bit of Latin. What I wrote in my last post was part quote and part my own invention, although I'm not certain the grammar is entirely correct.

your wrong on the throws IOException, but your right on the List contents are inserted backwards, and then printed frowards. Which means the output would actually be read opposite of the way it's inserted.

<throws triangle a cookie>

hai. Amerika-jin. I speak poor Jap at best and have a buddy who is teaching me how to speak it. I have a freind who speaks it fluently, and unfortunately HE is too busy to teach me. I actually knew more nihongo when I posted that than I do now. I am trying to learn so many things in such a short span of time, I unfortunately had to use some of my japanese and spanish language cells for other crap like molecular biology and computers junk, but I am learning again. It got so bad I forgot damn near all my kana.

anyways. I'm flattered that this whole big ass drawn out post started in a quest for me. If you wanna know me, my AIM name is ApxErmac and you can email me through this thing.

i have borland 4.52 through borland c++ builder 3. i then moved to microsoft visual c++ 6. i have had to make a few programs on watcom as well. i have several programs published (small client type programs, about 40 customers).

i also spend way too much time playing games..... :)

i am on one programing newsgroup where i help others and i am on a mud develoment team. but i have to wait on them to reconvert the code so it will compile in windows... i dont have a unix machine and dont want to break their code :)

waiting to test arcanity..... :)

I find that those who are strong in mind follow similar paths. I am currently developing a database system. I started out with is needing to meet school requirements, but I actually have it at a point where it is useful. I intend to pantent it. I have spent 2 years writing it and its a couple hundred pages of code. I am trying to make it an idiot proof console based program and then create java/activex and windows API or MFC versions and a linux version. I want to make this thing VERY VERY portable before public release. The more flexible the program is, the better. Anywho, it retrieves information from a server and allows you to do different things depending on the amount of access your account has. hehe.. I built accounts into it.

that stuff is all way off subject... anyways.. I too am waiting for arcanity to be released so that I can proudly say I am a debugger/patcher for it.. I love picking things aparts =)

And then the rain comes and washes away the blood and damps the fires. A new day starts with smell of death washed away and a arch of color from the skies. The madmen have been driven back once again. :)

Morte

But the tide will turn once more. They will return, in ever greater numbers, seeking to sacrifice themselves for their dark overlord. A milling mob of assorted lunatics, the deranged will spill their blood until the end of time, an everlasting cycle.

Kintoun
02-18-2001, 02:46 PM
But the unchanging cycle is what drives man or beast for the will of survival. For without battle, one may never truely know the reason for exsistence. One feels as if he is protecting what is dear and near to him, only to realize the futility of life itself. So bathe in the blood of others in order to attain closeness to ones deity, knowing that the loss of one is for the gain of ALL!

Morte
02-18-2001, 05:32 PM
And true to those words, the fight goes on in its eternal cycle. The bloodbath that is life repeats itself in al its misery and glory. And as the ages come and go, and people work their way to their inevitable destruction, the Gods watch and wonder, whiling away their immortal life. There is no beginning, there is no end, there is only the endless variation of existence.
