I found something so disturbingly funny and cynical , that I just had to share it with everyone.
You think you had "issues" with EQ? You ain't seen nothing yet. Take a look at this:

I've never played EQ, but that fellow is amusing...
He must bug the the EQ developers something fierce, though...

He does seem to have a bit of an overactive imagination.

It's the revenge of the tiny people. Danger lurks everywhere. Beware of bloodstains.
Well, I'm dead already, so I cannot be killed. I am truly immortal.

I do not have a soul. I am a simple floating skull.

You enjoy Torment, don't you?
Morte

Yes, I do, although I used the name before it came out. I just added the E.

Morte? Are you Murray the Talking skull from Curse of Monkey Island?
Su'ulMorda

In the Bone, no doubt...
Morte

I was inspired, in part, by Planescape Torment, as Su'ulMorda so shrewdly observed. As I said, I was using the name Mort before then, but decided to add the E. Murray is just a distant cousin.

No, I am a floating skull suspended by ancient forces beyond the comprehension of even an elder god of magic. I am however capable of creating the illusion of a solid body for an extended period of time to walk around in populated area's without attracting attention.
BelDragos
01-29-2001, 01:19 PM
I'm not an elder god of magic.
I'm THE ELDER GOD OF MAGIC.
I'm the one who allowed those ancient forces to exist when they were just a new source of wonderment.
Get it right or I will pull the plug on that pitiful Eldrich wrapping that binds your essence to that fragile calcium deposit you call your home.
Morte
01-29-2001, 01:27 PM
I will not be threatened by some elder god of magic. I was forced into being by the currents of time itself when the universe was still in it's infancy, and when the gods didn't even exist yet. The fact that I am currently residing in a skull, which by the way is not made from calcium, is just a means to an end. You cannot touch me. You cannot touch my skull. I am omnipotent, and ever so slightly insane. Do you worst. See if I care.

Who do you thing provided the spark that created the Multiverse and started the hands of time moving?
It wasn't you, child.
( A strange feeling of awe overcomes you as you realize how much trouble you are in! )

Time is forever. I am the embodiment of time. Only because you puny gods don't know better, you will not be undone for this insult. Do not push your luck. Elder Gods are not so special that they cannot be replaced if needed.

Time is only forever if you go forwards. If you go back to the Beginning of Time you will see my shining face.
Know thy place.
Your existance is but the lifetime of a mayfly in the skein of events I'm concidering today.

Morte

Time extends in all directions, going on forever. It has neither beginning nor end. No god overconfident of his own power can change that. What you call the beginning of time is simply the beginning of an ever repeting cycle. There was time before you came into existence, and there will be still when you cease to exist. Time does not flow. Time is.
BelDragos
01-29-2001, 02:22 PM
I exist outside the pitiful restraints you call Time. It would be foolish to allow my own creation to affect myself.
Your delusional concepts of reality cannot effect me. Insanity will do that to you, child.
I never claimed to be a mere godling. The title was given to me by the first beings I created whos decendants later decended into godhood.

I grow weary of this. No one, not even me, lives outside time. All beings wade through time, oblivious to what goes on outside their immidiate surroundings. Although gods, and that is what you are if an exceptionally powerful one, have a broader perspective they still are ignorant of time and existance. Not even a god is truly immortal. Insanity has fuelled your illusion of grandeur, and may yet destroy you. Do not presume too far, godling, for my patience does have limits.
BelDragos

Judging others by your own limitations can be a fatal mistake.
There are things that even your own limited awareness cannot even begin to understand. I am one of those.
Morte
01-29-2001, 02:47 PM
I have no limits, for I am the essence of time, and time envelops all. I embody existence. I embody entropy. Both must be served for reality to exist. When reality fails, existance as you know it will cease to exist, simply to start anew. It is a tiresome process. You fail to acknowledge entropy, and therefore threaten existance, and not only your own. Do not force my hand. Act wisely, if you can through the haze of insanity.
BelDragos
01-29-2001, 02:58 PM
Your contridiction in defining your existance betrays your weakness and insanity. You are but a flawed copy of what you wish yourself to be.
I have nothing to fear from you.
Morte
01-29-2001, 03:08 PM
I contradict nothing. I am the essence of time. I could explain it, but it would be lost on you, as your perspective is clouded and your intellect falls short. You percive my words as a paradox, and therefore assume they cannot be true. This barrier cannot be bridged, because I cannot make you understand without redefining your existance. I am unwilling to do that.
BelDragos

"no one, not even me, exists outside time"
"i have no limits, i embody time"
It seems that you are limited by your own admission. What other limits have you created for yourself in your delusions? If you truely had no limits you wouldn't be restricted to existing only inside the timestream. That is just the start of your faults. To fully discover them you must come to terms with the reality of your flawed existance. If you need help just seek within or ask me. I help those who sometimes need my guidence. After all I created you when I started the flow of time.
Morte
01-29-2001, 03:40 PM
Time envelops all, Time has no limits. I am the essence of time given thought. Everything else is dependent on time. Time is dependent on nothing. And there is no such thing as a flow of time, or a timestream. Time is, and everything moves through it.
