Hrm it's close to impossible to brag amongst the posters who have tags like, "goddess of light", etc. After all... if am truely a preist of the light, how am I to brag and say am I better than my own goddess? It would only hurt her feelings to know that she is bested by one of her own disciples. Once the disciple surpasses the master, it is best to not humiliate the master. One should humble oneself and hide his/her true talent, like myself.

In saying that I have no limit to my capacity, my full potential does not exsist on this x,y plane that you are all referring to. My power is in everything, I span across all regions, drawing from the weak and the strong. Whereas you all are one point on a plane, I encompass all points on that plane.

Of course this is power that I only speak of, as I am not ignorant enough to walk around in a display of such power and show. For true strength is being humble and in control of such power. For all you may know I am the neighbor you have next store who lives a happy life farming with his family. Yet in times of dire need I will be overcome with a transformation in order to help secure the happiness of mankind.

Actually, he just rides on my shoulder and complains. Usually about the weather.

I can assemble a body at will. I can magically bind any bones within a certain range to form a body. Or I just polymorph myself. And I do not need to ride on anyone's shoulder. I can gravitate. I just like not having to propel myself.

And how is anyone going to tranquilize me if I don't have a central nervous system? Or any veins or arteries, for that matter. I am disappointed that an elder god of magic cannot grasp the idea of a magically floating skull. And besides, Slitherrr wouldn't let me ride his shoulder after I accidentally set his head on fire.

A look of dispair creeps across his face as the drugs start affecting him. "How can this be? What magic is this? This cannot happen! I am the great Morte and I will not allow this to happ..." and he collapses in a drugged stuper. The men in white put a long sleeved jacket on his still form, secure the sleeves, and haul him away. )

I don't know, I'm floating all the time, so I am never down. But I suppose it would depend on your target. If your target would be Kintoun, it would be a service to man- and skullkind, and all other kinds of kind as well, I imagine. As long as you refrain from trying to kick me. Look what that notion did for Kintoun, particularly the back of his head. Which tastes quite disgusting, by the way. I can't recommend it.

No, I float when I'm sleeping as well. You don't think I'm going to actually sleep on the floor, do you? That's not very hygienic. Slitherrr's shoulder is one thing, but the floor...

I don't really need sleep anyway. Sometimes I just pretend I do, when people are boring me with very uninteresting stories about who they healed, and how they brought people back from the brink of death. Healers can be so dull. So I sleep from time to time to keep up appearences, or I make an illusionary copy to do that for me.

I never pay attention to Kintoun. That was an illusionary copy you've been practicing on. It's not real. For good practice, try Kintoun's head. It's a bit messy right now, but I'm sure he'll clean it up whne he's done screaming in agony.

And this way, Kintoun has some fun as well. He leads a very lonily life, you know. Just him and his patients. And the patients usually die.

Now that me and Morte have merged our thoughts, and settled our ways, I believe that we are far beyond an unstoppable force. Morte easily takes care of any foes, while I am the base that supports him through healing and buffing arts. With that combination, there is hardley anything that can stop us. But of course as a brandished sword needs a shealth, I will need to be that shealth and hold back Morte to make sure he doesn't use our combination of powers for evil (since we actually do have opposing thoughts on religion).

Entropy is not evil. It just is. You cannot do without it, just as you cannot do without creation. Kymeri and I maybe on opposite sides, but in a way we complement each other as well, since we need the other in order to exist.

It's not a boast, it is simple truth. Both creation and entropy have to exist. A universe with no creation would be a bit lame, don't you think. And then I'm forgetting the point of how the universe was created if there is no creation. The universe cannot have only creation, since if there is no entropy, everything that is created will exist forever. That raises a few interesting problems, which cannot really be solved. You wouldn't even be able to start a fire. A universe with only entropy is not possible either, since nothing gets created and therefore there is nothing to break down again, so there is no entropy either. Having said that, the obvious conclusion is that both Creation and Entropy are needed. Note that most gods and the powers they represent are in some way vital for the continued existance of the universe. If one of those gods would cease to exist, there would not be a universe. A good example of this is the God of Time.

Morte and I are the circle of Life and Death, without the other we do not exist. Consider us the twins, we came into being together, remember twins are not always identical, we followed our own paths.

And I see how Morte is saying his ways are not "evil". He is just carrying out the task assigned to him from the title of Harbinger of Entropy. No matter his feelings on the subject, he is needed to balance Kymeri. Also this would be a good area in which a god feels he wants a replacement. After deciding he no longer cares for his "line of work" he can pass his mantle on to one who meets the reqs and feels up to the task.

And thus they learn Wisdom. Wisdom is so hard to find because it cannot be found. It has to be learned. One must learn how to use their Knowledge if they are to be successful in their search for Wisdom. It is heartning to see such potential.

I am not a wrathful God. I had to teach a lesson and he learned it well. I imparted Knowledge to him. He learned something about himself that was an unknown to him. He understands his innerself better. When he overcomes his fear of what he is he will return. Not sooner or later. He has all the time in the world to reflect thanks to my earlier gift. He has to evolve and when he does he will be one step closed to joining us.
The knowledge of who and what you are was one of the first things Grandfather and Grandmother revieled to me in my Journey to becoming what I am.
The first steps are sometimes the hardest in beginning your own Journey. I am but here to guide those who show that they are worthy.

I wrote most of them before I noticed the disturbance that created Novus. Novus caught my curiosity. It is like a field experiment where magic goes from one end of the scale to the other. It was even caused by a mortal. I just want to see where this world will take itself. Perhaps I can help someone acheive their Destany.

He wasn't really a mortal, you know. He had lived for ages when he cast the spell, magically enhancing his life span. He was very weak in the end, though, barely able to cast the spell. I actually had to boost the spell for it to wipe out the world so completely.

O ya thats right... In that case... Since I carry the same soul of my fathers, I was actually the man who casted the cataclysmic spell. My lineage comes from a long line of great family history.

My blood is proof of this... and the ensignia on the back of my left hand shows I am the true heir.

Well, technically, he is not dead yet. He is part of my undead workforce. And he still retains his soul. Or rather, I do. In a jar, part of my collection.

Hrm actually what you have is the shell of his body, animated only by your pure evil. I know this as otherwise I would not bear this ensignia as proof that I am his successor. For the ensignia only appears once the latest born in the family obtains the mantle.

No, I definately have his soul. I can tell. Ripping his soul from his body may have caused the ensignia to pass on. I never gave it much thought. I still won't. Or it could be a fake ensignia. if I can forge those, others might as well.

My forgeries are very realistic. I have passed on a few people as ancestors of someone else very succesfully. But I don't have much interest in the passing on of ensignia's beyond the practical use it has. BelDragos should know, with all his books and whatnot.

You kidding me? I've been spending tons of time with Morte. At first I was very skeptical b/c I was worried that I'd be corrupted by the evil ways. But actually I have a much better understanding of the ways of Morte, and it's not much different from his twin sister Kymeri. The more time that I spend with Morte, the more open my mind becomes. And I've learned just as much from Morte as I have with Kymeri too. It's as if I am learning of 2 sides from the same coin.

My book contains all the information I want to reveal about myself, and I was very succesful in creating that book. It actually has some very unbooklike qualities, but I advise you not to try it out. Oh, and I changed the contents of the books you wrote about me. They were mostly incorrect anyway, so I put some of my best recipe's there.

Why don't you leave the books as they are. They are great recipes. And otherwise I'd have to dismantle those books again. I have a large amount of undead books stored in your library, so I could start a revolt to save my recipes, and keep my history, how inaccurate and incomplete it may have been, out of the equation. I prefer to be an unknown factor, as I always have been. I wouldn't want the odd visitor of your library to stumble upon them, now would I? No, they are best left as they are. Those recipes tell a story about me too, for the patient and wise observer. Literally.

Not even you know my secrets, a few exceptions notwithstanding. As I said, a lot of secrets are locked away into my recipes, since I sealed them there. They are just nearly impossible to get them out again, even if someone know they were there. And of course there are my undead books guarding them. Rest assured that the secrets you know about me are locked away in the books still, minus the stuff that wasn't correct. They will disclose them to you, but only you, of their free will if needed.

And the need to justify your actions? I thnk that is what sympathy is, you want a sympathetic ear so here goes. I even commend you for it but to deny the truth of a matter by falling into old habits is a poor way to fall into harmony with those around you. My suggestion in the future is to merely, accept and then find flaws from without not tatoo your flaws onto others..
