Peanut Butter Cookies

Hey, does anyone know a good peanut butter cookie recipe, I've just got this sudden craving for em, and I don't keep cookbooks around...

Try this:

(1) Heat your oven to 375

(2) Stir 1/2 cup of butter until it gets soft

(3) Stir in this stuff one at a time:
(a) 1/2 cup brown sugar
(b) 1/2 cup granulated sugar
(c) 1 egg
(d) 1 cup peanut butter
(e) 1/2 teaspoon salt
(f) 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
(g) 1 1/2 cups flour
(h) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

(4) Make little balls out of it and squash them flat with a fork onto a greased cookie sheet.

(5) Bake 'em for 15 minutes.

Whew, that sounds like a lot of work. If you're like me and you're too lazy to do that then just follow these steps:

(1) Ask your girlfriend to make peanut better cookies.

(2) Eat peanut butter cookies.

yep, chics are cool, but about 99% of them apparently have some sort of mental lapses for they do not like computer/video games. i cannot comprehend this for the life of me. they would rather wear clothes they percieve as 'hip' or 'cool' and put on their makeup to be pretty rather than have fun with games or something, what the hell do girls do in their spare time anyways? ahhh! mass craziness!!!

btw, that was NOT a sexist comment, jes the truth, prolly 99% of all females HATE games such as this...mad mad mad craziness...

I guess I am one of the exceptions to the rule. I love computer games(I'm the one who onws the computer). I love building things(I'm the one that owns the dremel my family) and I bake cookies too!

Sigh now if only I could find a man.

I have run into a different version of this....

1) Ask wife to make peanut butter cookies.

2) Get told that you are perfectly capable of making cookies.

3)Hope for pity when it turns out you are actually unable to make peanut butter cookies.

Also, girl scout cookies freeze really well, so buy lots and just thaw when ready to devour.

It depends on the mood.

There are times when it is better warm but it can be very refreshing chilled with a bit of wine or mead.

In my experience, cold blood has the tendency to congeal, but that'll happen to any old blood. The only real solution is to get it fresh. No real problem, I'm just lazy.
