Anyways, either click the www Arcanity link, or the URL under my sig, thx.

It looks very good in my opinion, and it loads fine :D
I think the GeoCities thingy in the corner is annoying, bit there is very little that can be done about it. It can be done, though. I'll see if I can find out for you. Besides that, I think that the text in the main window appears to sudden. Maybe you could make it fade in?

Very cool, Kintoun. I especially like the menu layout.

mmmm fancy:) it does take quite a while to load, and im on dsl. You might want to make a main page and give folks a low road/high road option. Remember not everyone has flash or wants flash. The animation on the menu buttons makes me dizzy:) Oh wait.. Im already dizzy. Annnd...the title bar above the main window.. ie I bet mine is bigger than yours: is a little hard to read.. .. that aside It sure is pretty! Nice work.
While youre checkin out yours check out mine too.. www.ypt.org/pkatt Its not near as pretty as yours:)

OK
I checked it out.
I like the gunshots and the cat appearinf out of nowhere.
The words look cool when you rest the pointer on them.
I like the effects.
I get Java errors when I first enter the site though.
Looks pretty good though.

Hmm, I experienced no such problems. It flowed very smoothly. I just click the link and it starts showind the intro. ADSL should be able to handle it as well. What bandwith do you have, that it doesn't.

When I go into the site I have to click OK on a few JAVA ERROR screens and then it works fine. Probably on my end.

It sounds like old/incompatible client software. If you upgrade to IE 5.0, it should work fine. It does for me, anyway.

Actually IE5.5 is out (never noticed it tho) Comes with WINME. Great ideas guys, I'll work on the text for sure. As far as the high/low bandwidth thought... This is the future of web pages and I'm going make sure ppl are immersed into that whether they like it or not =).
Also going to work on making my anime list load into Flash and be scrollable, it's not that hard.
Thx agian all! ^_^

My computer came with WinME so I don't think that would help. Any more ideas?
(Remember I don't know much about computers.)

I don't know enough about computers to give you an answer. How does it work with MinME? It came installed when I got my computer. I don't know what's in it. My first computer.

Bel, have you tried updating your IE browser? There have been a ton of updates released for it by Microsoft and I'm not just talking about IE5.5. Go to the top of your browser and click on "Tools" and then click "Windows Update" on the drop down menu. When you reach Microsoft's site, click on "Product Updates". Go through the list on the right (it may have you install some Microsoft software first) and make sure you have all the Critical Updates checked. You might also want to check as many of the recommended updates as you can. When you're finished, click on "Download" and start the download on the next screen. Depending upon however many updates your system needs and the speed of your connection, this download could take anywhere between a minutes to several hours. After it is all done, you'll be prompted to reboot your computer. If this doesn't work to fix your problem, I'll try to think of something else.
And Kintoun, I am envious of your web-building skills. :)

Umm becareful tho... I was told that Microsoft Update also checks to see if the version you are running is alrdy registered. I've never been able to test this or know anyone who could since we all have copied versions LOL. And who wants to jeporadize that?

I'm not worried about that because mine came with the computer when I bought it last November. If anybody copied it, it would be Compaq.

Besides, what are they going to do about it. Even if they know who you are, which would take quite an effort, they wouldn't do anything even if they could, simply because the cost would be much higher than the return. They could try banning your IP, which might or might not work depending on how IP adresses are dealt with by your ISP. Also, I seem to recall that you can manually download the updates as well, as the automatic update doesn't always work with every system. Even Microsoft isn't that customer unfriendly, I boldly venture to say.

Morte's right about costs, Kintoun. I don't think you've got much to worry about. :)

The site is nice Kintoun, I have a 56k and I didn't have trouble loading and it didn't take that long. The script is alittle hard to read, but you get used to it in a few minutes. Very nice indeed.

I'm running IE 5.50, 56K connection. A little slow to load but no problems whatsoever. I like the flash but agree that the font in the menu is a bit hard to read. I like the animation, sound, and general graphics. What I might recommend is an explanation of the purpose and use of the site. I am not very familiar with what is involved in an IRC chatroom, so the few paragraphs on your "information" page were very confusing to me. If you want the page to be used by only those familiar with your chatroom and that environment then it is probably fine. But I really didn't understand most of it. But overall it looks really good.
