NOT! :) I have already started chatting to my friends on EQ about it and they seem as stoked as me! ;) I have a feeling if BHT can deliver even half of what they offer (and I don't doubt that for a second) then EQ has a lot of trouble on its hands.

I know several of the other MMORPGs in development have been having funding problems lately... Actually I think all of them have at one time or another, correct me if I'm wrong. Probably the result of spending too much money years before they had any hope of making any money back.

Brick House isn't going to have any funding problems, that's one thing I can guarantee. I'm personally funding 90% of our expenses, and I can keep doing that for as long as it takes to finish Arcanity. Hence, we won't be having any funding problems.

The reason I'm able to do this is mostly because we're cheapskates. We're using almost exclusively free software (for all the otherwise expensive server stuff, anyway), we're putting off buying a "real" internet connection to the last possible moment, we're building our own servers instead of buying expensive pre made ones, etc. Heck, we even make our own sandwiches instead of going out to lunch! Like I said, we're cheap.

Brick house may face many problems in the months to come, but funding won't be one of them. I hope that we can prove it doesn't take 8 million dollars to write a MMORPG, because that's just silly.
