Hey all,
I finally finished Baldur's Gate last night (yah, I'm a little behind the times...) and decided to start up Baldur's Gate II. When I tried to import my Conjurer, the game ported over my stats and my name, but not my spellbook. In fact, I was forced to choose an all new list of spells which total probably less than half of what I had at the end of Baldur's Gate. Is this supposed to happen or is there a way that I can completely transfer over my character to the second game with spellbook intact? I tried doing the import from both the character file and from the Final Save game. I also checked Interplay's site in addition to a bunch of FAQs, but have found no answer as of yet to this question.
Hrm. And why has Minsc's enemy suddenly changed from Gnoll to Vampire? The mind boggles...
Thanks.
