It seems that a number of people are having problems lately. I wonder if EQ is launching them to keep Arcanity from going on-line.

What is this with the puters crashing everywhere. You weren't the only one Parry. My comp dived out of a 747 and crash landed big time too. Took me over a week to get it up and running again and still working some of the bugs out.

Something is causing my DSL line to give sporatic bursts and kicking me off. They said it would be fixed within 48 houre but.... You never know.

Everyones computers are ALWAYS giving them problems... like that one home-made video that I saw online, "Every OS sucks". Blame it all on the OS's, cause thats usually the problem =\

Thats right, that what was wrong with mine, nothing I did would allow me to boot Windows it just kept giving me a damn fatal error and no support anywhere on how to solve it since a friend built my comp. DAMN Windows. It shouldn't matter who you buy your comp from only that you purchased Windows and Microsoft should support its own product.

Ah well, I have good hopes for Windoews XP, if the beta reports are anything to go by. The support problem is not entirely Microsoft's fault, actually. Because there is a lot of piracy it is very hard to determine if someone has a legitimate copy of Windows. Which is exactly why they have a new security system build into WinXP. It should solve at least part of the problem. Now if Microsoft could just get good customer support as well...

True that there is alot of piracy, but if you register your copy and each copy does ship with a ID number, Microsoft should supply support for its OS's. I hope Windows XP is as good as I hear its going to be too Morte. I would love to finaly have a decent and stable OS, because there surely isn't one around right now.
