Hell Rann - I'm pretty new myself, and when you see people with 1,000s of posts, fear not. And if you see Morte eating something that slightly resembles a human limb, ignore him, its was for the good of the fool. The community is a pretty close one, and they seem to allow anybody in (I'm in, so there) except young ones that post bad ideas for PvP ("Let's put everybody in a circle, and I come in, and kill them!")

Anyway, you should have fun here. And if you see something flying across the sky shouting things, that's probably Morte.

hahaha welcome Rann. Make sure you check out the FAQ on the main website. It'll answer most your questions and covers pretty much everything to date. Your safe from our roasting until you reach journeyman status at 30 posts, then your OURS! muahhaahha!

Do you have suicidal tendencies, or is it just a neural disorder. You DO realise that I am your elder by so long you might as well still be mortal, do you? But you have a point. If I chop up all the journeymen now, I won't have any for later. I'll just have Kymeri resurrects them. You be a good boy and put them on ice or something to keep the pieces fresh until they are resurrected.

Morte, What did you do with his leg? Its hard for him to journey if he's only got one leg. I keep telling you to make sure you keep all the pieces together.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

/emote can be seen in the background being tossed around like a rag doll by the demon with glee... he seems to be enjoying it. Suddenly, Kintoun phases out of the demons mouth to face it a few yards away with a cold hard stare... A few momemnts pass while the demon squares up to Kintoun, and Kintoun unsheaths his never-seen before glorious weapon! No wait.. that can't be his normal weapon! It's a.. a decaying human leg! The demon's jaw drops and he almost falls over in embarrassment and shock. But Kintoun within a flash is upon the demon with a flurry of attacks which are mixed into a colorful blur http://members.chello.nl/~deleeuw3/mad.gif. After a few moments the demon is seen lying on the ground complemely maimed and dismembered. Kintoun stands over his kill, throwing his weapon over his shoulder in triumph... Only to realize that it was a human leg! "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! What the hell!?" can be heard while Kintoun becomes a small dot on the horizon.

* Morte resurrects the Bile Demon. The Demon eats the leg.

Kymeri, I was just feeding my pet. And sometimes, in the world of mortals, for one life to be sustained another must end. It is the law of the jungle. And I told Kintoun to pick up all the pieces. But nooooooooooooooooooooooooo, he has to go about whacking a poor innocent demon with it. Where did he run to now, anyway. Well, the leg is gone now anyway. But I'll make it up to you, I'll get you a new leg.

* Morte walks to the nearest Journeyman and rips of a leg. As the Bile Demon sets upon the unfortunate Journeyman, UBIK runs past chasing something unidentifiable, but with a very odd mode of transportation.

Here ya go, Kymeri. A new leg for you to attach.

Rich is my RL name (not to be confused with the status of my RL bank account balance).

Ralfe is my EQ wizard's name on Povar. Fogerty is my EQ bard's name. Some of you may remember that used to be my message board name, too.

Rolfe is Jason's EQ wizard's name on Povar, AND his message board name, AND his e-mail, AND he has it embroidered on his underwear, AND I end up calling him Rolfe half the time. I barely know the difference anymore!

Don't scare him needlessly. When you have 30 posts, I might cook you and serve you as a meal for me and my fellow gods, but it is not a certainty. Or I might feed you to my recently acquired pet Bile Demon. Fear not however. There have been a few cases of journeymen reaching 100 posts, at which point you are relatively safe.

He is expected to wait with any severe physical harm. Scaring them a little was not included in the agreement.
