Hey People!!

As you may or may not have seen, are the character concepts that we have posted (if you haven't seen them.. go do it!!).. it's just a few but, in time the numbers will grow.

Well I've seen a lot of MMORPG pages and in-game art and concept art. What I want to know is what pisses you off about the artwork in other games? Are you tired of seeing them just blend together, where you can't tell one game from another? What would you like to see done? What haven't you seen before?

And in the later weeks we'll be putting more art up, and if something sucks e-mail me and say "Damn you Lamont!! That (insert name here) sucks major (insert insult here)!! What the (inseert vulgar word here) were you thinking?!?!". Even something as strange as hair color, or weapons.. whatever!!

SO don't hold back people, this game is for you!! And it's great that we are not holed up behind closed doors developing this, and then spring it upon you all of a sudden one day and exspect you to like it...

Hey!! One more question.. where is the mallet in Legend of Zelda: Link to the past (SNES.. remember those things?)

I'd like to see some concept art of the "normal" races (humans, elves, gnomes, etc), so the appearance can be agreed upon early on- a lot of the newer MMRPGs have seriously wacked-out stuff (anyone seen the bald elves in UO2?). The basic character forms is something that needs to be nailed down early in development. (I, for one, would like the elves to have hair).

Of course, this also ties in with the Race issue... I need to check back on that board and see how that's going.

We're moving along at a good pace, I've just scored two wizard concepts today, and those should be up soon. I'm working on a minotaur right now...

I think we all know what a human looks like, so they can wait... anyways they are not as fun to draw as ogres and stuff!!! You'll see...

Yum yum, concept art, gimme gimme. As for your Zelda question, the hammer's in the big chest in the first palace after you get to the dark world, cause I remember you had to use it to break off the boss's headpiece before you could damage him with arrows.

Hey, I didn't wanna tell him about the bombs, cause then he wouldn't have incentive to get the hammer :-P. Ask me questions about almost any SNES RPG in America... I've played most of em, and beaten most of those in to the dirt. Never got around to beating FFVI though, and I'm sad for that. I'll have to pull out the old emulator and get crackin on that...

no no no....you still have incentive to get the hammer becuase you have to pound those coloums to get to in the dark world by where links house is in the world of light.
