For the purposes of this post I am assuming you will be going by the game purchase plus monthly fee model...
Please, Please let us be able to stay in game but be able to send the game window to the task bar. Of course, since we are still in game, bad stuff can happen to us if we aren't paying attention but this is something sorely needed in the online RPG world....

That's already there, isn't it? I can certainly do this in AC... only if your video card sucks should you have a problem ALT-TABbing out of a direct-X game...

...or if you have old NVIDIA drivers. Apparently, the 'multitasking-in-AC' problem has been fixed in the newer drivers for NVIDIA cards (or was it only the GEForce?).
I wouldn't know though. I have an HP Pavilion and have to download the drivers directly from HP's site. The last time I tried updating the thing with driver's other than those from HP's site, it went down hard. The last time HP updated their NVIDIA drivers was around May, if I remember correctly.

Hey, Wrentia, this was mentioned in a (much) earlier post, and probably one of the interviews, but Arcanity is going to be basically for free. It'll be downloadable from the site (for high-bandwidth), or for cost of s&h + cd burning for us others. Then there's the standard ten bucks a month or so fee. This way you don't spend fifty bucks on a game that sucks.

Thank you, Journeyman Slitherrr.
With the alt+tab thing, EQ wouldn't let you alt+tab at all without crashing. It sucked.

Cynycal, you really need to post more. :)
This fine display of lack of a life makes me think you must resemble that "I love you, man" guy from bud comercials a few years ago...:)

Hahahahahaha, nope, he doesn't quite fit that description, as I recall the Bud guy was thin and weasly... Cynycal's a big wide-shouldered computer-gaming freak of nature, looks like a short viking (without the helmet).

I give a big Huzzah for the free. You will get a great number of players just for that.
