Status?

OK, I have what is potentially a stupid question: What is up with that 'Status' field in the message board poster profile? Is that dependent on number of posts? Time active? What are the different ranks? (Feel free to berate me if I'm being dumb.)

By status, I think you mean Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master?

Apprentice - 1-29 posts. People in this rank normally give off very good, fresh ideas ( such as vilk, who I think just posted about 8 ideas in 5 minutes? ;_;)

Journeyman - 30-99 posts. I'm in this range, so people here can't be that bad.

Master - 100+ posts. People who have been here very, very long. At this stage, you can count that they will be dominant figures in Arcanity.

Other titles, such as God of Darkness, God of Fates, etc.. - Given by moderators. If you have a title like this, you have been here waaaaay too long. Oh well.

Not many 'flames' go on, nonbody's been flamed if they've had less then 30 posts, with the exceptionof Parry, who we absolutly crushed (I'm sorry, but I don't regret that. "over-exessive pride", anyone?)

Uptil thirty posts, you're an Apprentice. From 30 to 99, you're a Journeyman, and with 100+ posts, you have the status of master. The special titles are not related to the number of posts made, but are given by BHT when they feel it is justified. Most people who have made large quantities of posts and made a positice contribution got their own title.

Never fear, Slitherrr. I hadn't even heard of Arcanity until a few days ago. On the future Arcanity players board, though, I did see a recent topic posted by Parry with several people ripping into him. It's still up for enjoyment. ;-)

Speaking of apprentice to Journeyman status, us older ones have a rule we abide by. Apprentices cannot be harmed in any way but once they reach Journeyman they are considered fair game, and need to be "broken in."

And gee wonder... look who made Journeyman status =). Prepare to tag em and bag em boys! We need to break this one in!
