Not to sound negative, but Bush is a complete idiot, who doesn't seem to have ever heard of the word diplomacy, which is odd for a politician. Not that most of the European political leaders are something to write home about, for example Blair who was only elected because he was the lesser of two evils, but that's a quality inherent to all politicians. And what's the point of that missile shield anyway? Its completely useless. If someone is really determined to detonate a nuclear bomb in America, that shield is not going to stop that. And there is lots more I can go on about, but that would be pointless anyway, so why bother.

OBVIOUSLY, Morte, America has so many enemies, and that necessitates the need for an extravagent anti-ICBM shield. Look at China! Forcing one of our spy planes down over their territory, locking up the crew in HORRIFYING five-star hotels and feeding them local delicacies? Those poor souls!
And don't forget all the, uh, other countries that pose a threat to the American way of life. Like...

i have to disagree, i dont want to start a flaming thread, but i really must disagree, Bush was the better between gore and him (we used to be democrates, but gore made us change) gore even tried many scams to win. Also, the missle shield thingie, it is pointless providing that the US is only hated by smaller contries. Sixers need to take Hill and Jones out of their lineup, and do something like Snow, Iverson, McKie, (Geiger/MacCulloch), Mutombo.

The missile shield doesn't work(even if it did, Korea or someone would make an anti-missile shield ICBM for much less than what we spent), and if you really are worried about the well being of american citizens, spend half of the cash you'd be wasting on it on healthcare and half on anti-terrorist ops (since you're so concerned about getting attacked). And don't waste it all on that tax cut that gives no real benefit, not even to rich guys.

What else....hmmm...oh yes....

Oh yes, and the reason we don't use the metric system is that 100 yards on a football field is much easier to remember and work with than, um, not 100 meters.

btw, anyone here about THEL (Tatical High Energy Laser) it was built by TRW inc. in california. It was ment for Isreal to protect against rockets. in tests it downed 2 rockets at once, but they never sent it to isreal.
