View Full Version : What is to come in the way of War and Clans/Guilds?
Anyone (developers mostly!) have any ideas on what is to come in the way of Clans and warfar (which isn't stated in the FAQ)? Any information at all would be appreciated. =)

Once everything's going, guilds should be able to do anything that guilds should be able to do, like declare war on each other, keep a treasury, jockey for position, etc. The only thing keeping a guild from warring against another guild are other factions that don't want the war... Think real politics ;-)
Cool, cool, sounds good. Will there be anything like there was in Lineage beta, where if a certain Clan owns a certain castle, they will get a certain advantage. Such as an extra hunting area, or the ability to impose taxes upon certain merchants and such?

Well, it would only make sense, if you have a castle and a couple hundred serfs under your control, then it would seem that you would have control of a certain amount of area. How much control is limited only by the amount of power with which you have to enforce it.
Yeah, that sounds pretty cool. That will obviously create competition between Clans for control of the castle. Things like this open up an entire new world for the users. Hopefully, lots of interesting things like this will be added.

That will be the political side of the game. You better make powerful friends. That is the Roll-Playing aspect of the game.
If you play your character right there is no telling where you could take it.

That's why we have been around so long. The DEVs have really been listening to our suggestions.
