There really is no game yet. The only thing that can be done right now is walk around in a 3D environment. The current form of Beta0 is more of a Alpha. There are no NPC's, there are no races besides a male Ack, heh and their ain't a damn thing to do yet. No attacking, no commands, only walking and talking.

So nobody is missing very much yet, heh. But welcome to the boards! Make sure to check out the FAQ as it will answer most of your questions. Also enjoy everyone on the boards and express your ideas as BHT (the developers) listens well.

Well, the community is great, a lot of intriuging people with a lot of great ideas. But as Kintoun mentioned, there isn't much to the game as of yet.

you bore me, you should rip off thier arms while they are living and hang them by thier feet, then feed them thier own arms, and if they wont eat well they'll starve but u still force the meet into thier mouth, and tehn u hang them thier till they die, then u let them dry and hand them out side ur door and insirt insect bugs into thier stomache that wilkl eat them from the inside out and let every one see the effects.

So crude, so very very crude. It pains me to see the ancient art of torture being mangled so. Were is the creativity and dedication of old. I will have to start a course, train disciples, revive the old days.

Nakhn
08-16-2001, 01:23 PM
im not a torturer tho...

BelDragos

Hey Morte

If you need them I have some old text books on a shelf somewhere that you can borrow if you don't get too much blood and gore on them.

I believe they came from the Dungeons of the Exquisitor, a mortal who acheived Demi-Goodhood on another plain. I was telling you about him once.

Let me know.

Morte
08-17-2001, 04:55 AM
Ah, the Exquisitor. Those were the days. Would have paid him a visit if I had found the time for it. Hadn't expected him to die that quickly. It was a freak acccident, as I recall, don't remember exactly what happened, I was rather occuppied at the time. But he did invent some of the classics.

I'll probably visit your library for some books, make an easy to read textbook for disciples to study. Saves me the time of having to personally instrict the whole lot of them.

Oh and don't worry about stains and such, I have a few enchantments to protect the books.

BelDragos
08-17-2001, 08:50 PM
We could animate them so the books were alive. They could feed on the splatters. Unfortunately you might loose a couple students to the book's appetites.

If you think that is acceptable come over and I will start the Enchantments.

We could have one of your famous picnics and invite the whole Family.

Nakhn

Talka
08-17-2001, 09:33 PM
He's onto us! Set a book on him, quick!

*Laughes evily*

*Hears Nakhn shout from the pain of paper-cuts*

*Nakhn's screams fade away*

*walks away with an army of killer books*

Nakhn
08-17-2001, 11:38 PM

Kintoun
08-18-2001, 01:01 AM
You personalize things too easily Nakhn. If you look at past threads we always roast ppl who have renetly attained journeyman status. Matter of fact I think we missed wolf pup!

Morte.... summon some flames, Bel (as always) go get sis and some of her sticks. Ubik... you can fillet their flesh when their done cooking ^_^

/emote summons some mead, and appetizers.

How does some coconut battered journeymen dipped in mandarin sauce sound?

/emote ties up WolfPup and Nakhn, and waits for Morte to arrive....

Nakhn
08-18-2001, 01:46 AM
But i aint no journeyman no more!

PsychoWolfPup
08-18-2001, 02:11 AM
/me gnaws through his ropes, smiles, then runs off.

Morte
08-18-2001, 04:09 AM
* Sees PsychoWolfPup run off, shrugs, whips out his scythe and chops Typoboy into small cubes.

I'll let ya know when the meal is done, shouldn't be too long now.

BelDragos
08-18-2001, 06:03 AM
*Pulls out a dog wistle and blows. Pup is summoned, muzzled, shackled, and leashed. Looks at Morte and says

We don't want to get a ticket for violating the Leash Law.

:D

Kintoun
08-18-2001, 06:21 AM
Hmm now what to do with the little doggie?

Lemme borrow your scythe Morte.... thx.

/emote skins wolfpup and then reanimates the skin to rip wolfpup's innards to shreds.

There we go! Nice ground doggie meat! We can have some hamburgers!

/emotes tosses the ground meat for Bel to press.

PsychoWolfPup
08-18-2001, 01:13 PM
/me is resurrected

"Ya might not wanna try cooking my innards"

Kintoun: Why?

"Cause I have a habit of eating C4"

Kintoun: What do yo.....*BOOOOOOOOM*

"Told ya!"

Nakhn is an unborn entity at this point, you can't kill whats not there.

Morte
08-18-2001, 06:22 PM
Of course I can, I'm a god. A god of Entropy no less. I can kill just about anything I please. But tell me, how can an unborn entity proclaim it's non-existance, if it doesn't exist.

Nakhn
08-18-2001, 06:29 PM
I dunno... if i knew that i would have made up a better excuse...

Nakhn
08-18-2001, 10:42 PM
you're lucky, Im most afraid of my sister... Actualy I'm safe rom death for death is just another part of the cycle of life meaning there is no reason to fear it... well wait taht doesnt make me safe from it that actualy proves that im not safe, every thing is so confusing...

UBIK
08-18-2001, 11:39 PM

Nakhn
08-21-2001, 04:33 PM
But now I'm a full master so I don't get taht "newby" attack cuz I already got it... yay for me! now I'll just get the "shut up already!" attack

Morte
08-21-2001, 05:24 PM
Why people would bother is anyone's guess, since you'll ignore them anyway, happily making totally useless posts that up your post count and blowing your ratio between useful ideas/opinions and meaningless drivel way out of proportions. Asking you to stop will probably be completely useless, so I'll not waste my time. Make some useful contributions or shut up. And please try to actually provide coherent arguments for the point you're trying to make.

BelDragos
08-22-2001, 01:54 PM
We do not attack newbies. We let everyone make it to Journeyman Statis before they are free game. This allows them time to read the FAQ and go through the threads and posts so they can make intelligent and clear posts. They also have the time to form ideas to the character they will "play" in this forum.

The exception to this rule is when they are deliberately being rude and disrespectful to the other members. This includes and is not limited to spamming, personal attacks, and not following advice when told to stop.

After members reach Journeyman, they can be picked on and they can most certainly fight back. This is all in-character and never personal. We are all playing the same game.

There is not a limit to when you are safe from this substitute because if you are here you want to Role-Play. If you don't want to Role-Play this is not the site for you.

Indigo

Wheres the stick gal when you need her:P Indigo chants Stick, Stick STICK* Seriously though perhaps if some people didnt feel so picked on when they arent getting picked on.. then they wouldnt get picked on so much.. (Indigo wisdom)

By the way .. remind me never to eat at Mortes:P That was disgusting what you did to psycho wolfpup.. no wonder he blew Kintoun up:) Indigo crosses her arms and taps her foot while giving you THE LOOK Just look at this mess! No more terrorizing the world till its cleaned up. Indigo hands Morte and Psycho the superglue to put Kintoun back together.

Actually we have a secret pact to torment all newbs unti lthey reach their 50th post, that way we can weed-out the weak. Then Morte teaches them the secret hand-shake, gives them a BIG hug and welcomes them to the boards. So Nakhn, if you haven't gotten your hug yet, go find Morte :D

BelDragos
08-23-2001, 06:11 PM
Morte

Put on your best Spiked Armor. Nakhn is comming over for one of your Special Hugs.

(What time is dinner?)

Morte
08-23-2001, 06:47 PM
HUG? I don't do hugs. I would be perfectly happy to break his neck and dump the body, though. And Kintoun will just have to clean himself up. I'm a god, not a carpet cleaner. Besides, so is he, so he can simply assemble himself again. Dinner will be served soon, and Indigo, you're invited as well. It really is quite exquisite. Ask around.

BelDragos
08-23-2001, 07:12 PM
An Invitation to Motre's dinners is a lot better than being Morte's dinner.

Kintoun

Altho for some of us it's one and the same.

Mephista
08-24-2001, 08:35 PM
The slaughter of lesser beings for the greater good. A tactic very few people seem to employ. It pleases me to see it employed with such enthousiasm. What slightly puzzles me is why a god would prepare a meal manually, or prepare it at all. It seems to me a god wouldn't need to ingest like a lowly mortal.

Kintoun
08-24-2001, 10:44 PM
Ah Mephista, you forget. Meddling in the affiars of mortals, and lowering oneself is a great way to humor and pass the time. Besides, staying in a etheral form and never interacting physically can get tiresome.

BelDragos
08-25-2001, 12:50 AM
Morte loves the taste of a mortal's soul trying to flee from him. Kinda like the hunter/hunted relationship.

Kintoun
08-25-2001, 04:30 PM
Hmmm yes to us it is a great sport. On our chess board of existence, every piece is playable.

BelDragos
08-26-2001, 01:00 AM
...And palitable.

:D

Morte
08-26-2001, 03:13 AM
It gives me an odd sort of satisfaction to prepare a well appriciated meal. It gives me a change of pace, allows me to create something, instead of breaking it down. It's usually not really a hunter/hunted relationship, though. It's not much of a hunt, most of the time, more of a harvest. Most are weak and unworthy of my attention. There is an occasional interesting one, but they have usually been turned to my cause already by my minions, and they need a different treatment than simply ripping their soul from them.

The really funny ones are usually those holier-than-thou pompous paladin types, with their 'honor' and their obligation to do good. Or that's what they say, anyway, most are common mercenaries with a shiny hat. "Fighting the good fight." Idiots.
