It's hard to explain, and it's not something that you put into a game, but it's something the players can do. In Nexus, the game I play, there are 3 little games the people get together to do:
G'oh: Most players in Nexus has their own 'set.' The most basic is obsidion, or some other round rock. The best one I saw is a bone collection =). Anyway, the set has nothing to do with the actual game.
First player puts down a peice, and then the other player puts down a peice, and you keep going until one player has 5 in a row. It's much like that child's game, but I forget what it's called. It's pretty fun, for example, M is one player, O is the other one
OOOMM
MMOM
OOM
OMM
MO
OO
I know it's a bad explame, but oh well. There are G'oh leagues, and G'oh tournaments, and G'oh boards, etc...
XO: Simple, fun game, because everybody was sick of trivia. You lay down some worthless items to form an X, and to form an O. The host will say a fact, and all the players run to the True (O), or False (X), while te host counts down from 10, outloud. Once he say stop, the people who got it wrong go away, etc, etc, true and false.
Luck Game: Called a luck game because it's all luck ><. The are four things dropped on the ground, somehow lables 1-4 (drop 1 thing for 1, 2 things for 2, etc...) and the host is in the middle. Hard to explain, let me try to draw it:
1---------4
----------
-HOST--
----------
2---------3
The host shouts run, and you run in a circle, from number to number. When the host says stop, a number is randomly choosen (1-4). There, the people in that number select one person to go up to the host. There, the host has 3 objects on the ground, all that look ALIKE. He says beforehand what the 3 do. For example, let's say he puts down a silver acorn, a gold acorn, and a normal acorn, and they all look alike. He says beforehand that if you select the gold one everybody in your number, NOT including yourself, loses and goes away. If you select the silver one, just the person who went up loses and is kicked out. The normal acorn, nothing happens.
And if you can click on objects on the ground and see what they are, the host would just have to have the person guess a number between 1 and 3.

ANYWAY, what do you think? Do any of you have any games like this you play?
