a guild war would be fun to see, i also really want to see somepeople to try to seige a castle or something, thats got to be interesting

it'd be great i'm sure a seige would take like days upon days to prepare and by days i mean real life (because of building seige engines...etc...) i'd like to build a moat around my castle filled with some sort of horribly scary creature...that'd be neat...

Hey, the mage guild could even summon water elementals to fill the trenches with mud to make the battle more interesting.

I prefer convincing the castle occupants to open the door and let us in...there are many ways to win...

While winning by war will get you the city, winning by peace will get you the citizens...

Holding a city against the will of the people breeds rebellion, and holding a city in rebellion is worse than holding no city at all.....

I still think the easiest way to get the city to open it's gates is to offer a giant mudpit for coed mud wreastling. The soldiers will throw down thier weapons and be down the walls before the weapons hit the ground.

But seriously, the best way to open the gate is to prevent it from closing in the first place.

A good reason to have guild representation in every city...it is one thing to know thy enemy..another to be thy enemy...the duplicity of diplomacy..some of the best treaties have been acomplished that way...

Damn, Generic, you is a devious thinker, but you're right about that.

I think we had better keep an eye on the new kid in case he gets some ambition.

Generic

Ambitious..Devious...maybe...

I just believe that only by approching a situation from all possible directions can one surround it, control it, understand it, and ultimately resolve it.....

..and while exploring all the options wherever they may lead one can have alot of fun which is the ultimate point of the game :)

That's true.

You should be the head of my spy network for the Guild if you make a magic using character.

I will consider your proposal.......

One thing I should clear up though..

I do not spy I watch...one is factionalized, one is balanced, one is invasive, one is passive...

The goal is to have eyes where there is something to see, one need not always seek to find, one just needs to keep there eyes open and see the truth in the fog....

The difference is as great as it is small, but it is vital to distinguish.

That said I will let you know....

Spies must be skilled in watching or they are not spies.

I see what you are saying.

I'll hear from you later.

Hmmm... I see a possible dangerous situation here. You two could make a dangerous duo.:)

If you changed your mind, it could be the Terrible Trio.

He's right though, about Spying. There's a marked difference between watching/planning and actively rooting out secrets. Just like there's a difference between political alliances, competition, and wars.

Political factions look to play a large role in Arcanity- that has to be good. Any game with heavy thinking is already better than most of what's out there now, :)

I still think I'll just sit back and watch what all my boys get into and out of. Just watching Wrentia try and catch up to Thirty should be quite entertaining as I don't see him cooperating in the BBQ

hmm... I see the balance of power and the movement of men shifting around here... I knwo the smell of power when it is about... its quite distinct you know.... on that note...I am considering joining you all, Lord BelDragos.... it seems that there are powerful brains working on your side and I would like ot be a key part of that, or atleast _a_ part.... as long as you dont mind a guy who like to use magic, but likes to do a little old fashioned ass-kicking as well as brain over brawn with magic...

I hope you will consider my proposaly...and I'll drop you a join request by email if you are okay with my fighting style. etc... I think I might be able to make a contribution to the dangerous duo... >=)

gimme a buzz....

...BTW, I think that everyone here should be on the same real-time contaction program so that we can contact eachother and throw around ideas better... I suggest AIM because yahoo just sux and ICQ has been going down the tubes for a long time and is now a dead one....

but then thats just my oppinion... >=)
