OK, the Arcanity site needs a Chat Room

just a thought....:') Some poor staff member could even be forced to attend a weekly session where we all can pound him for details. I just hate seeing that other folks are on the boards and there's no real way to chat.....:)

I agree: from time to time all check up on the website and see that there are others logged in, so I'll log in, but the only way to communicate is through these threads, and with each of us looking at the most recent responses to a variety of different threads, a concentrated chain of thought is more difficult to keep. I'll look at the message boards to see if there are any new posts that have been made close to the time that I'm on, and after I've found them and looked at them, the next generation of new posts has already been born before I can make all of the rounds. It's like an endless game of chase sometimes, but I suppose that it is fun for me.

i completely agree with the chatroom idea...you could use IRC EFnet and have like #Arcanity or something, or just put up some sorta java chat

For the heck of it... I'm going to start serving an #Arcanity chat on IRC, whenever I happen to be on. irc.pulltheplug.com is the server, the port is 6667, for all that know and or care.
