...making RPGs? It's a pretty drastic turnaround. I was wondering about this the other day, it struck me that it could be a really funny story. Want to share it with us?

One day you're watching stockprices fly by your sleek LCD monitors, the next day you're crunching out 3D API code and designing fantasy races?

Give us the scoop!

It's been covered in every interview I have seen for Arcanity...

Apparantly it didn't do too well, so they decided to do something they enjoyed instead.

Somehow, they're financially secure already, so they can afford to do this :)

(Ya know, if I were you folks, I'd not give Arcanity away free, even online. Quality games deserve recompense... I'd be happy to be able to play free for 24 hours from the time I DL'd the software, then have to pay for the software and the monthly fees. Hell, just make the first month $20 and every month thereafter $10 if you want to be generous...).

Toray's right, Rich and Rolfe started out making a daytrading firm, and tried to write some software to predict stock prices. It failed, and they wanted to code games anyways, so here they are, offering us the quality service that's been lacking in so many MMORPG's till now.

it'd be funny if they started programming games and went to doing the other..
