Could it be possible if i created a "Guild of Goblin Slaying" or something similar to that that me and my buddies could go around, only slaying goblins, and eventually they would go extinct?

If fantasy has taught me anything, it's that no matter how hard you try to kill off an entire group, you'll always miss that one royal family member who will come back with a group of diverse friends to "fulfill their destiny" and destroy you in the end.
